Brain Lobes
The scientists explain that we all have two distinct lobes of brain matter - a right lobe and a left lobe. They further explain that while some functions such as motor skills and memory are handled by both lobes, a significant portion of human activity is controlled specifically by one lobe or the other.
Language, including speech, writing and singing, as well as emotional functions providing acting skills and empathy for others are all processed by the right lobe. Math and logic skills, together with a strong differentiation between correct and incorrect, right and wrong are handled by the left lobe.
It seems that most of us have somewhat of a balance between their two lobes. However, some have one lobe or the other that is dominate, resulting in a person who displays expertise in those skills processed by their dominate lobes. And in a smaller percentage of humans, their dominate lobes are so developed that the functions of the opposite lobe is surpressed. These are the folks with the very special gifts that provide so much to humanity.
Rocket scientists that helped put humans in space, with their extremely dominate left lobes produced math and logic excercises with genius, while very probably exhibiting less than average language skills.
And those with very dominate right lobes and extreme writing skills, quite logically end up as our newspaper reporters and writers. And their skill as writers completely overshadows their shortfalls with math and logic skills. And dominate right lobe language skills also produce our actors and singers; and we easily overlook their lack of logic or sense of right and wrong.in their personal lives.
And sometimes, rarely, we have individuals with such absolute dominance of one lobe over the other that we have a genius like Einstein or Shakespeare. Their lack of common skills from their recessive lobes is completely irrelevant in comparison to their contributions to the human race by their dominate lobes.
A perfect example is a comtemporary female singer who possesses so much right lobe genius that she sings with the perfect sounds of an angel. Producing sounds so clear and perfect that us normal humans are transfixed in awe. Who cares that her logic skills are non existant And that her sense of right and wrong would embarass an eathworm. (Unfortunately, apparently she didn't have enough left lobe funtion to even understand how truly lacking she was, and promised to leave the US permanently if Bush was elected to a second term. I don't know what country she moved to).
The above thought process could rightly be extended to explain the differences between the US political parties. The liberals are right lobers and the conservatives are left lobers. That would neatly explain why almost all the media, speakers and writers, are liberals. And why most of Hollywood is liberal and have no concept of right or wrong in their personal lives, or in their effort to raise their children. Is this why the Democrats demand that their candidates display some emotion, with the ability to produce occasional tears hailed as a really good qualification for political office?
And why Obama, with his genius at speaking and language, is embarassed when a US citizen can't speak French as a second language. When he should have been so proud that it was his countrymen who shed so much blood so that the French wouldn't have to be speaking German today. Or so proud that it was his fellow citizens who displayed enough left lobe logic to get us humans to the moon.
Does this explain why the liberal/democrats ridicule a candidate, who, even though he has a refined sense of right and wrong and a completely logical mind, and a host of leadership qualities , may deliver his speaches with a bit of halt like Bush and McCain? And maybe explain why those same liberals swoon at the feet of a candidate who, even though he has no sense of right or wrong, or experience, or logic, delivers his speaches with the smootheness and perfection that makes them feel really good? Good like a toke of dope that they are constantly trying to legalize?

The '08 Election
The '08 presidential election is turning out to be a classic battle between the left lobbers and right lobbers. All the arguments about "experience" and "past associates" and "lies" and "flip flopping" can be pared down to the basic premise: Do we want a leader who will move us in the direction of being a nation of "opportunity' or a nation of "fairness"
There are some obvious short term "feel good" advantages to being more "fair" with our distribution of of wealth and services. The huge difference in living standards between the very rich and our poorest will be narrowed. And national health care will provide the same level of care to everyone.
What the proponents of "fairness" fail to divulge (or maybe aren't smart enough to know) is that when the gap between the rich and poor is narrowed by government mandated wealth distrubution, the standard of living of everyone is lowered. The poor will have a lower standard of living!! But things are more "fair" so we all feel better?
Cuba is an example of a country which has had very fair distribution of wealth for the last 25 years or so. And the standard of living there for everyone is less than it was for the very poorest under their prior "unfair" dictatorship.
20 years ago Ecuador was a country of very poor and very rich landowners. The disparity was appalling and totally and completely unfair. An eloquent leader who promised "fairness" was elected as president. He sized the land and fairly redistributed it and other national goods to all the people. Today everyone there has a standard of living about 60% lower than the very poorest did 20 years ago. they essentially have no health care, no police protection, no public sanitary facilities, a high rate of child mortality and most families are living on the verge of starvation most of the time. But they have fairness!!!!
Most everyone would agree that the US today has the best health care system in the world and the wealthy here have access to better health care than do the poorest who don't have health insurance. But what the "fairness" advocates won't tell you is that our poor with no insurance has access to better health care than 95% of all the other residents of earth. They would apparently prefer to see everyone with a lower standard of care under a national system because it would be more "fair".
Stock Market Trivia
During the period between Jan. 1, 2009 and June 10, 2009:
1) The China stock market rose 54.4%
2) The Brazil stock market rose 42.2%
3) The India stock market rose 60.3%
4) The Russia stock market rose 79.9%
5) The US market (S&P 500) rose only 4%
The US liberals and socialists will deny that the tax and spend policies of their fearless leader had anything to do with these statistics. And in two years when our unemployment rate is 10% and our rate of inflation is 15% they will have 100 excuses why it's not the fault of their Man (He smart!!)
PS: It seems I have been assigned the task of documenting these excuses as the Democrat Party develops them. They vow to never admit the truth: "socialism simply doesn't work."
